Happy Holidays!

This has been one helluva year for me!  For the first time ever, I got to experience what it feels like to be a real author - I attended two amazing book signings!  The first event was Indie Authors Down Under (read about my experience here) and then there was the Sydney Author Event (see my last post here).  It was such an honour to be an 'attending author' at both of these events!  I loved meeting some of my favourite authors and readers, and making new connections, too.

Some of the very best people I have met this year are my street team members.  Megan’s Minions have made this year one to remember! Their kindness, friendship and support mean the world to me and I'm so happy to be able to share this journey with them.  They have given up their time to pimp my work, read and review my books, and make me some bloody awesome teasers, too.  (Check out my Pinterest boards to see what they have done by clicking here.)  One in particular stands out for me, it makes me get teary whenever I read it...

There is nothing I love more than to hear from a reader that has connected with my characters and stories.  So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every reader that has picked up one of my books and given it a whirl.  Thank you to the ones that have contacted me, by commenting on my page or sending me messages, to share their thoughts.  A particularly large thanks to those that have taken the time to leave a review.  Words cannot express how life-changing you all are!

Somehow this year I published six titles, entered the Top 100 Erotic Romance Authors on Amazon a couple of times and my books reached Number 1!!! more than once in different genres on there too, and I still managed to work on upcoming projects.  (Yeah, I was a little busy!)

Next year promises to be even bigger!  I have another two signings - You can catch me at Readers and Writers Downunder (now taking pre-orders for this one here) and Fictionally Yours, Melbourne.  My goal is to publish another five titles in 2015 (we'll see how that goes!) each a little different from the last.  Lots of exciting surprises in store!

As the year comes to a close I just want to wish each and everyone of you all the best for the festive season!  I hope your holidays are spent with family and friends and are full of laughter and love. Thank you for your support.

I'll see you all next year!

#SAE2014 REPORT

I think the organisers of the Sydney Author Event started planning about the time I started writing!  All that hard work certainly paid off!  SAE was a wonderfully put together event.  The Ivy was a lovely place to hold the signing and the cruise at the end of the long day was a stroke of genius! I had an absolute ball interacting with fellow readers, some I'd met before and plenty I hadn't.  It was a great way to meet some of my street team too!  As with all things that you look forward to so much, the event kind of went by in a blur - the day ending far too quickly!

A personal highlight for me was being seated next to the fabulous Raine Miller.  I was more than a little starstruck to beside Mr. Ethan Blackstone's creator!

It was amazing for me to be in the same room as my idols!  I was a bit tongue tied to meet R.K. Lilley and Samantha Young...

Of course, I didn't get nearly enough photos on my camera!  Or enough books signed for me, but I sure did sign a lot of things that day!  It was fantastic to see all of the photo books people made but when I came across this particular scrapbook I was blown away (maybe even a little teary).

Thank you Phillippa Taylor, you sure know how to make a girl feel special!!!  I appreciate all of the time you put into creating something so awesome!

Thank you to the organisers of this event that I will never forget!  And thank you to the people that stopped by my table to say hello, the day was filled with smiley faces!

I would like to give a special thanks to my beautiful daughter Madi for helping out on the day and to Leann for keeping us both organised.  And to Sydney for the beautiful weather, views from the boat and the fireworks!

Sydney Author Event here I come!

I'm packing my things because tomorrow I'm heading to Sydney.  This weekend I'll be attending the Sydney Author Event 2014.

When I started writing it was with the hopes of self-publishing one little book, a bit of fun, to see if I could sell a few.  I never dreamed that two years and nine titles later, I would be attending my second book signing  in the heart of Sydney with some of my favourite authors!  I mean just look at those names!  I'm so excited and honoured to be included in the same room as such talented women!

Not only that, but I love the friendships I've formed since I started this journey.  They have enriched my life beyond measure.  I feel so very blessed to have made online friends with so many beautiful people.  And this weekend I get to hang out with them, some I've met before and others I will be meeting for the first time.  Can’t wait! Full report and pictures to follow in the coming days ...

Greetings SAE attendees!

The countdown is on!  The Sydney Author Event is fast approaching and I'm getting excited.  Here's a little video I prepared for the organisers:

I may have lied a little - not 'all' of my books are packed and ready - I do plan on taking more than what's included in the video, but stock will still be limited on the day.  If you would like to guarantee yourself a copy of any of my books I'm still taking orders for the event.  Click HERE to place your order.  I'll begin invoicing later this week because I need to order the stock very soon.

Signed Paperback Order Cut-off

Hi y'all!  If you are attending the Sydney Author Event this November and wish to reserve copies of my paperbacks I will be closing the pre-order form this Sunday night.  Why?  Because they get printed in the US and the shipping costs are astronomical.  If I order well in advance I can literally save hundreds of dollars to pay for 'slow freight'.  Cutting costs means cheaper books for you!

But paying for the slower shipping option also means I am running out of time to get my order in.  So if you wish to place a pre-order to be collected from the Sydney signing, here is the link:

And if you wish to order any of my books to be sent to you directly please place your orders here (also by Sunday night to guarantee stock):

Thanks!

One very lucky author

A ground-breaking event is happening next year. The Sydney Author Event 2014 is set to be the largest book signing of its type to be held in Australia. Mark your calendars for November 29.  It is going to be epic!

Here is the list of authors announced so far:

The event is open to both Australian and International artists.  Best Sellers as well as little known authors like me.  Yes me!  I am also one of the authors that has been invited.  It is an absolute honour and a privilege to be included in such a monumental event!  And to be amongst some of my favourite authors.  I am in awe that this has even occurred!  If someone had of told me a year ago that I would get such an amazing opportunity, I so would have laughed in their face!  Hell, if they had of told me three weeks ago I would have.

And this awesome list is only the beginning!  I have been told that there are to be more announcements coming soon.  I cannot wait!

Of course, this wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for some very dedicated women at Delphi RoseA.K.A. The Book Harlots ReviewConfessions From Romaholics and Natasha is a Book Junkie.

Follow the event on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest info.
